  1. This archive contains the latest ROMs für Buddha and
  2. Catweasel Z-II. Buddha Flash and Catweasel "S-Class" models
  3. can put the rom image file directly into the flash memory.
  4. For older models (Buddha, Catweasel Z-II and Catweasel 
  5. Z-II MK2), an Eprom-programmer is necessary. The same rom
  6. Image files can be used. If you want to test the software
  7. first, use the expansion drivers and the LoadIDE command.

  9. Use the ReadROM command to backup the contents of your flash
  10. rom to disk or harddisk. 
  11.  
  12. How to "flash" your controller:
  13.  
  14. Open a Shell and issue the command
  15.  
  16. flashbuddha buddha.rom
  17.  
  18. Then follow the instructions on screen. If you have a
  19. Catweasel Z-II "S-Class", use the command
  20.  
  21. flashbuddha catweasel.rom
  22.  
  23. In both cases, the multitasking will be disabled for a few
  24. seconds, that's why a warning message will appear before the
  25. operation starts. Without multitasking, online-connections
  26. and time-critical programs that run in the background could
  27. crash, so it's recommended to exit all programs before
  28. "flashing" your controller.

  30. The new drivers are about 20% faster on harddrives. This
  31. value has been measured on an Amiga 2000 with a 2630-25
  32. accelerator board. I'd like to know how good the performance
